One of the first things I noticed when we first visited Zürich were the continuously flowing water fountains all over the city. I wondered then if the water was potable and since learned that of course, it is. And it is delicious and cold. There is apparently no water shortage here because all day and night they flow. When we moved I started grabbing pictures of them, mostly in or near our neighborhood. No excuses for empty water bottles around here (though I don’t see many other people drinking from them the way I have learned to). And many of them look cool too. Here are a few that show some of the diversity, though they are not the greatest shots. I love that many have built in dog bowls and ledges for kids to reach the water too.
